Terms of Service

1The service

Zaferra is a subscription software platform operated by Zaferr eCom that provides restaurant management tools: point of sale, menu and table management, QR ordering, kitchen ticket printing, staff accounts and sales reporting, plus a companion Windows application.

2Your account

• You must provide accurate business and contact details when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You control your staff accounts and their permissions.
• One subscription covers one restaurant business. Contact us for multi-location use.

3Free trial & billing

• New restaurants start with a free trial period, currently 7 days.
• After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next billing period.

4Your data

• You own your business data — menus, orders, customers, and reports.
• You can request a full data export at any time.
• On cancellation, data is retained for a reasonable period, then may be deleted. Request an export before cancelling if needed.

5Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the platform for any unlawful business or to sell prohibited items.
• Attempt to access another restaurant's data or interfere with the service.
• Share access credentials publicly or create accounts through automated means.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.

6Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Windows app queues print jobs when offline to minimize disruption. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible.

7Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Zaferr eCom is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.

8Termination

You may cancel at any time from your subscription settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.

9Changes & governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
